Below is a description of some of the current weekly rides
Yorkville Monday Night
Description: Fast paced drop ride with a sweep. No one will be dropped from the sweep. The pace of the sweep group will be determined by the riders present, typically 16 – 17 mph. The North route is 27.5 mostly flat miles. Occasionally, some or all riders may elect to take an alternate south route that is closer to 30 miles and maybe 50 feet more climbing.
Ride Leader for fast group: Jerry Hoff
(262) 237-3164
Ride Leader for moderate group: Doug Lee
Co-Ride Leader: TBD
Pace: Moderate to fast-paced ride with multiple route options: a 20+ mph option or a 16-18 mph group
Distance and terrain: 25 to 30 miles over flat to rolling terrain in rural Racine County (Yorkville, Dover, Waterford – sod farm heaven)
Turtle Tuesday
Description: Fun, beginner-friendly group ride at an easy pace, no-drop. Stronger riders may attend if they’re wanting an easy recovery ride on their road bike, or bring a slower bike with fatter tires. Route may have some “champagne gravel”, but we’ll avoid muddy, chunky and deep sandy types.
Ride Ambassador: Jeremy Zorns

Thursday Chain Gang
Description: Moderate pace ride of 20-30 miles. It is a good ride on which to learn paceline riding and drafting. To many of us it’s a “fast” ride, but in the whole scheme of road cycling, it’s moderate. Double pace line on back roads, single file on busier ones.
